​香港大學法律學院﹣汕頭大學法學院暑期培訓

In 2012, the University of Hong Kong hosted a group of students from Shantou University to come learn about Hong Kong’s legal system through a series of talks and visits to legal institutions. Students who were otherwise unfamiliar with Hong Kong’s common law system were given the chance to attend lectures by HKU professors and visit the Court of Final Appeal, the Department of Justice, the Legal Aid Department, the Law Society, Bar Association, the ICAC, the Legislative Council and the Social Welfare Department. During their visits, professionals from these legal institutions gave talks related to their work to give students from Shantou University a full picture of Hong Kong’s legal system.
